Konference SRC´08 je nejvýznamnější akcí programu SECURITY - FP7.

Konference je pořádána v rámci francouzského předsednictví EU třemi federálními ministerstvy ve spolupráci s Evropskou komisí. Předpokládá se účast více než 1200 vědců, zástupců průmyslu i politiků. Cílem je ukázat na jedné straně dopady konkrétního bezpečnostního výzkumu na obyvatele a straně druhé umožnit kontakt výzkumu s inovačními potřebami průmyslu.

Registrační poplatek je 250 €, registrujte se co nejdříve.

Konference se koná v době otevřené druhé výzvy programu SECURITY - (FP7-SEC-2009-1- 3. září 2008 plánované otevření výzvy a 4. prosince 2008 plánovaná uzávěrka), bude tedy místem, kde se sejdou partneři mnoha připravovaných projektů a kde bude možné diskutovat s EK připravovaný projekt.

Součástí konference je i výstava (stánky 9,18 a 27 m2 - cena 2 300 € za 9 m2).

Objectives and organisation of the conference

SRC’08 will showcase the concrete implications of security research for citizens through research projects already carried out or those planned for future research programmes. With this in mind, public and private security end-users will take full part in the debates.
Contributions using examples of successful research projects will illustrate transverse, multidisciplinary approaches, stressing the ethical and sociological spirit of security research. The European Commission will draw up an assessment of the calls for European projects in the field of security.

SRC’08 will facilitate dialogue between research and innovation actors and end users through contributions and debates organised during two sessions with four workshops and roundtables.
European Commissioners and authorities will intervene to give the main orientations on the relationship between security policy and research. The European Security Research & Innovation Forum will also present its initial conclusions.

Lastly, SRC’08 will enable participants to prepare for future calls for security research projects through information sessions by the European Commission, but also in a session presenting projects and bringing partners together (brokerage session) organised by the European network of National Contact Points.
