I would like to take the opportunity and inform you that the IMI Partnering Platform (set up by the German National Contact Point Life Sciences with support from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research) has been updated with regard to the indicative 3rd Call topics, which have been published by IMI JU (http://www.imi.europa.eu/calls-03_en.html. Please note: The list of 3rd Call topics is indicative and subject to change. Further details about the IMI 3rd Call topics will be communicated by IMI JU after approval by the IMI Governing Board.)

The Platform is especially dedicated to IMI which provides excellent networking opportunities to prepare for the upcoming 3rd IMI Call 2010.

The Platform allows potential IMI applicants to identify suitable cooperation partners for the upcoming Call of the Innovative Medicines Initiative. The IMI Partnering Platform does not only facilitate the quick and targeted search for possible partners but also displays Euopean-wide cooperation offers specific to IMI. Registered users have the opportunity to be informed via E-mail-Alert about new participants interested in the same (potential) topic(s). A matchmaking function integrated in the partner search shows how well the own profile fits to those of potential cooperation partners.

Networking via the Platform is open to all IMI applicants on the European level. For the 2nd IMI Call 2009, more than 500 profiles from 38 different countries were published!
